In Venice we took all kinds of pictures; the Murano lighthouse, some glass places, the usual touristy sites. We left plenty unexplored but were happy with our stay in spite of the Italy-wide public transportation strike that negated our 24 hour Vaparetto passes. Next up: Innsbruck Austria. Before which we stopped and photographed Castel Tasso (that's how it read on the sign). We couldn't quite navigate to our first choice on the GPS to stay at so we opted for Hotel Innsbruck and we were not disappointed. Right next to the old town section. We only stayed a day, but found it to be a very nice place to visit. They had underground parking with a single car elevator. Unusual but effective. On the way to Salzburg we stopped at the Swarovski crystal and optics factory.
